For learner’s who have

  • started after 31 July 24
  • fall into the eligibility of being 19 to 23 years old or 24 years old plus (on their start date)
  • have been recorded as fully funded.
  • Recorded as Funding model 38 (Adult Skills Fund)

Before recording a learner as fully funded, please check your learner’s

  • prior attainment level is correct and matches the most recent aim start date
  • the level and category of the aim they are undertaken on Find a learning aim (FALA)
  • if they are eligible to be fully funded or not against the aim.

For help with the learner’s eligibility, please check Government Contribution Table

Please note for funding purposes, that a learning aim category code 37 in FALA is classed as a Legal Entitlement – Level 2 aim.

The LDM 391 code (Earnings Threshold) should be included when required. Where a learner’s earnings are below the threshold (including Unemployed), the LDM391 can be recorded at the providers discretion to fully fund learners.

If the learner is devolved funded, then you can consider recording Devolved Area Monitoring (DAM code 023 -MCA/GLA Delivery Exclusion).
