2.1 Navigating the forum
The landing page for the DataOps Community Hub looks like this:
The folders are collapsible, and channels are accessible by clicking on their names within the folders.
A channel looks like this:
Within channels posts are sorted as newest by default, but can also be sorted to see which posts have most recently been commented on or have the most interaction.
You can click on a post to comment or read the conversation that has taken place on that topic.
Posts will be automatically locked for further comment after 90 days, although they will remain within the forum as read-only.
For more information on using the channels, please familiarise yourself with the information contained in the ‘Privacy Notes’ and ‘Terms of Use’ channels in the General folder:

By default, post status will read as ‘none’. DfE moderators can change the status to ‘investigating’ or to ‘answered’ to indicate DfE interaction with a post.
2.4 Creating a post
To create a post, click on ‘Create new post’ within the channel.
This will take you to a new screen with some guidance on post creation. You can also drag or paste images into the text box, or tag other users with the ‘@’ symbol followed by their username.
2.5 Joining the conversation
After clicking into a post you can read responses from other users and post a reply yourself. As set out above, you can also subscribe to the topic to receive automatic email notifications whenever another user or moderator replies to this post.
3.1 Using the search functionality
The search bar is accessible from the DataOps community landing page:
This will then take you to a results page for your search. To search within the forum ensure that you have selected the section ‘Peer-led discussion posts’.
You can also limit your search to a specific channel by selecting it in the ‘Intended audience’ list down the left-hand side. Further refinement of the search can be had by searching with specific date ranges or sorting by relevance, newest or most recently updated.
