Issue with R10 QAR data

We are aware of an issue affecting the 2025 to 2026 R10 Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) data released on 16 July 2026.

As a result of this issue, some learners on planned breaks have been incorrectly treated as withdrawals, which may lead to lower than expected QARs for some providers.

We have investigated the issue, and we are working on a fix to be included in your R12 reports. We intend to release these reports earlier than usual, at the end of August, but this remains subject to testing. 

You do not need to contact the helpdesk about this issue unless you believe there is a separate problem with your data.
