Issue with R10 QAR data

We are aware of an issue affecting the 2025 to 2026 R10 Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) data released on 16 July 2026.

As a result of this issue, some learners on planned breaks have been incorrectly treated as withdrawals, which may lead to lower than expected QARs for some providers.

We are investigating the issue and working to implement a fix as quickly as possible. We will provide a further update through the DfE Help Centre once more information is available.

You do not need to contact the helpdesk about this issue unless you believe there is a separate problem with your data.
