Access the Monitor your school attendance tool

Daily attendance reports are being made available to schools, their trust (if applicable) and local authority, via the online service View Your Education Data (VYED).

Please note it can take up to 4 weeks from when you started sharing your data to get access to the reports. You will receive an email when your reports are ready to view.

Accessing school daily attendance reports

Reports are available on View Your Education Data (VYED). When you log in, you should see the option for ‘Monitor your school attendance’.

If you’re from a school

Log into View Your Education Data (VYED) using your DfE Sign in credentials and select the option ‘school or academy’.

If you have been contacted about accessing your reports but you cannot see the ‘school daily attendance’ option, log in to DfE Sign-in and request access to ‘View Your Education Data – School Attendance Data’ from your organisation’s approver.

Once you have been granted access, log in to VYED and select ‘Monitor your school attendance’ to see your reports.

If you’re from a local authority or trust

Log in to View Your Education Data (VYED) using your Identity and Access Management System (IDAMS) credentials and select the option for ‘local authority’ or ‘multi-academy trust’.

If you have been contacted about accessing your reports but you cannot see the ‘Monitor your school attendance’ option when you log in to VYED, you will need to log in to your IDAMS account and request access to ‘View Your Education Data – School Attendance Data’ from a Super User at your organisation.

Once you have been granted access, log in to VYED and select ‘Monitor your school attendance’ to see your reports.
