Trainee's planned end date to be extended

Hi, We have a few Trainee's that have an original 'planned end date' of 28Apr23 and we have been advised by the programme manager that they will be extending their end date to 25May23. I thought we aren't to alter the planned end dates on a learning aim, however as this is still in year are we to do so in this scenario? Or.... do we keep as the original planned end date of 28Apr23 and then when the trainees finish on the new date, we update the 'actual end date' with the May date? If the latter - will this be an issue for our QAR ?

Planned end dates must only be amended if in the same year and if the error is connected to a admin error I.e typo. I’m not sure the example you give would be classed as a admin error.
