Hi
Can anyone confirm if an potential apprentice who has achieved the below as part of an Access To Higher Education Diploma before end of July 2014 will have met the required level 2 for both Functional Skills or will they be required to achieve the Level 2 Functional Skill as part of the apprenticeship.
English Language - 9 credits - Level 3
Higher Skills in Mathematics - Data Collection, Sampling and Visual Representation of Date - 3 credits - Level 3
You need a minimum of 12 credits for English and 12 credits for maths as part of an Access to Higher Education Diploma for it to be considered acceptable evidence of exemption.. on which basis it sounds like your apprentice would need to do FS.
Thanks Ben. That's what I have understood as well but it states you need a minimum of 12 credits for English and 12 credits for maths at level 2. The learner has achieved the 2 units at level 3.
