Supported Internships

I have come across your post while seeking guidance .This is our 1st year offering Supported Internships, I am not sure if you had built a bank of peers to share good practice and offer each other support, in the case you had I would appreciate linking up and becoming part of external peer led support.

I haven't set up anything official but have been speaking with other providers.  We are a good few years into Supported Internships and recently were graded Good by Ofsted so if you are looking for someone to link up with I am happy to help.

Thanks for getting back to me, I would appreciate having any support, the reason I was searching for guidance was regarding the use of Access to Work and the high needs support elements we claim under the study programme, I have been asked to clarify when A2W can be used if we have already received high needs funding, the guidance states to avoid double funding with Access to Work, would a scenario be that for areas above what is already covered with these funds that impact the students placement or abilities we could also apply for (or the learner) A2W for covering any additional cost that were not covered in the high needs funding?
