This is the guidance:
English and maths qualifications at higher levels
Where the apprentice has a qualification at level 4 or above (including degrees) and/or SCQF level 7 and above (such as an Advanced Higher),
this is acceptable if the qualification is predominantly in the subject of English Language or English Literature and/or Mathematics.
For example, 50% or more of the content and assessment of the qualification should be focussed on the subject of English (language and/or literature) or maths.

Hi,
I could not see this in the ESFA guidance document, we have a candidate with an overseas qualification, which is NOT specifically in English, but Naric statement confirms the level of English is at a CEFR Level C1.
Has anyone had experience of using this type of evidence ofr exemption? Thanks
