I'd suggest it would make sense to get/retain some kind of acknowledgement from the apprentice that this is occurring, and that they wish to remain on programme (albeit temporarily suspended) whilst they actively try to find a new employer, otherwise you're arbitrarily pausing funding for essentially no reason and might as well just withdraw them.

I know that for a 'standard' BIL, we need to have evidence that the employer agrees to the BIL and that the apprentice intends to return to the same programme, but do we need to collate anything for a 'change of employer' BIL (where the BIL is less than 12 weeks)?
