Change of Employer Paperwork Dates

Created

Hello,

Quick question regarding apprenticeship paperwork for Change of Employers.  Looking for advice on signature & dates required on paperwork produced when an apprentice changes employers without a withdrawal.

Unfortunately, we sometimes get told that the apprentice has moved employers after the event, normally when we contact them to conduct a review, to be told that the apprentice has since changed employers.   Therefore when it comes to the paperwork i.e. training plan etc. for the new employer, do we need to have this signed on or before the Change of Employment date.  I cannot find anything in the funding rules that relates to a change of employer and documentation dates.

Therefore, at the moment, we have to have produce a paper copy of the documents to obtain a valid signature and dates from all parties required.  This then means physical storage of said documents etc.  The apprentices original onboarding paperwork is all compliant and signed and dated before the apprentice starts.

Therefore, can anyone provide some advice and clarification on this please, if the document signing date for a Change of Employer can be after the event.

many thanks!
