ILR Milestone Triggers Skills Bootcamp

A component aim representing events (event aim) related to the completion of the programme, if applicable
– One of the following class codes should berecorded if one of these events occurs and is related to the learning from thebootcamp:
use learning aim reference Z0059747 for Skills Bootcamp: offer of an interviewfor a role which matches skills acquired during a bootcamp
use learning aim reference Z0059748 for Skills Bootcamp: offer of a new role oradded responsibilities, which match skills acquired during the bootcamp, withexisting employer
use learning aim reference Z0059749 for Skills Bootcamp: receipt of plan fromlearner of how the bootcamp learning will be applied to acquire new self-employment opportunities/contracts
One of these 3 aims listed above must be recorded if the event occurs. Record thesame date in the Learning Start Date, Learning Planned End Date and LearningActual End Date fields when recording the event aim. If the event is the offer of aninterview for example, the date to be recorded is the date when the formal offer ofan interview was made, not the date of the interview itself. These aims should onlybe recorded as Completed (CompStatus = 2) and Achieved (Outcome = 1), andwith all three date fields completed. These 3 aims should never be recorded ascontinuing.

The achievement date is used as the trigger date for the outcome milestonepayment. The date recorded is when the learner has met the requirements of theSkills Bootcamps, completed the learning, one of the 3 event aims (listed above)has been recorded and the learner reaches a positive outcome, for example alearner gets a new job. This field must be returned when the Outcome field hasbeen achieved (Outcome = 1).

I believe that's what I have for these milestone 2 learners?

ZPROG001 (programme aim), Completion status 1, Outcome status 8, no actual end/achievement date (as they don't have a job yet) 

Z0059758 (learning aim), Completion status 2, Outcome status 1, end date = end of course

Z0059747 (interview offer), Completion status 2, Outcome status 1, start date, planned end date, actual end date = date of interview.

Is that right?

No, not yet.  I've been in touch with the ESFA a number of times but no resolution as of yet with deadline looming!

I've updated all our learners exactly as it says above, submitted the ILR but the occupancy report doesn't show it triggering ANY milestone 2 payments.

This is impossible without being able to speak to somebody.

Same for me, I tested the instructions you provided. Below are the instructions that I received from support.

There must be so many other providers out there with the same issue - as a small business we can't afford for this not to get resolved for this return.

I figured it out!!! I changed the completion status for Learning Aim ZPROG001 to 2 instead of 1! Try it and see if it works for you. 

When I do that it throws an error saying the actual end date must be returned - what did you put in there?

If I put the interview date in there it does it!!!

I'm so cross about this - once I've changed all our learners (for the 4th time) I think I'll find the complaints box....

I know this is an old thread but I am having a very similar problem.  I can not get the M2 payments to trigger on the occupancy report.  Therefore any participant who has completed the learning and had an interview, but has not achieved a job outcome is not getting a Milestone 2 payment.  I have the following setup

Aim Seq 1: 1- Programme Aim / Learning Aim ZPROG001 / Completion Status 2 / Actual End date  Date Interview Achieved / Achievement Date: Blank / Outcome 2 - Partial achievement

With the above set up it shows the participants on the occupancy report but no payment is made.

If I leave it blank in the Actual End Date or Fill in the Achievement date, with a date,  it brings up errors and then removes those participants from the occupancy report completely.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I want to preface this with the fact I'm not an expert on skills bootcamps having only recently had to start looking into them but if they've had an interview but not been offered a job then it should look something like this:

guidance.submit-learner-data.service.gov.uk/23-24/psm/article/recording-skills-bootcamps-ilr

(I can't seem to find a 2425 version of this...)

So based on your example the outcome for the programme aim should be 3.
