Submitting a Claim

Edited

None

I have recently taken over the Claim side of things and I am hoping to get a bit clarification on submitting a Claim just to make sure I am making sense of it.

To upload a claim you upload the ILR on the submit learner data website that is this all you need to do for the claim?

The funding Claims is for Mid-Year and End-Year Funding Submissions only?

Is there anything extra to do after uploading the ILR data in the submission?

Any information would be great and thanks in advance!

Hi Joe

Basically yes. The mid-year and year end are only for certain funding streams and providers though.

Main thing after you've uploaded the ILR is to check and clear any errors (and, if you have Apprentices, the DLOCKs). Any you can't fix by the close means you won't get paid for those learners this month (although if you sort it next month you'll get two months of money then).

That makes sense I thought as much but would rather get a bit clarification for peace of mind as I wasn't sure if anything else needed doing as part of the upload and didn't want to miss anything. Thanks Steve!
