Depends on the outcome of their initial assessment.
If you assess them as working towards L1 and there are gaps in their knowledge because they did it a long time ago, you can have the £471 as long as you can show that you are teaching them stuff.
If the initial assessment says they're at or above L1, then you just have to get them to sit the test and you can't have any money.
NB this applies to all learner who don't have/can't get copies of their certs and did it before PLRs were a thing/did it outside of England/Wales/NI.

Prior Level 1 declared in Math's but no evidence

Hi,
What's people take if a learner has declared they have a prior L1 in Math's but there is nothing on their PLR and they are unable to obtain any certificates as they were schooled in the Isle of Mann.
Would you place them on L1 as they will require that for their L2 apprenticeship but place them as non funded, or place them as funded?
