Active Learning
Created
Hi All,
Can someone please just clarify for me rule P35.2 in the current funding rules about active learning every 4 weeks, is this only for learners in the current 22/23 academic year, and learners who started in 21/22 this rule doesn't apply to them, and as long as there is learning every month they are ok if the gap is longer than 4 weeks.
We just want to make sure we aren't missing any active learning for people depending which academic year they started in.
Thanks
Lisa

Not quite, no. The rules for 21/22 still reflected the requirement for active learning at least every 4 weeks:
P44.3 - Clarification: To be clear that apprentices must be engaged in active learning or on a break in learning (if inactive for 4 weeks or more).
Yes, there was a whole bunch of obfuscation where they said this had *always* been the rule which most of us disagreed with, but that was their final word on it, so it definitely applies to everyone on prog right now.
