Ah, no, the Area Cost and Disadvantage are *already* in the funding generated by the general calculation so you do not need to put these through the EAS (or you'll be double claiming!!!). It's only the extra London funding. Afraid I'm not close enough to give you precise guidance on that, I'm not currently working with GLA, but surely they've produced some guidance?
Hi Glad
Information for AEB providers | London City Hall
The GLA Technical Guidance Note page 11-12 gives details of how to claim the 13.5% London Uplift.
Hope this helps

Good afternoon,
Thank you for all your help again: I have now completed the EAS form and awaiting submission.
I am sorry if I am having to ask one last question. It takes a bit long to get a response from our GLA manager.
-For this the 'London Factor uplift': do we need to code each learning aim on ILR with a DAM code? or do we only work out from the Devolved Occ. report, and submit the claim using EAS form without having to add any DAM code on ILR?
I have just been told that I need to add " DAM code 040 Devolved Area Skills Projects": which is even more confusing to me
Please let me know as the guidance are not quite clear and we I am getting confused.
Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon,
I wonder if you could help me with my query which relates to 'Uplifts'. I am currently completing the EAS form for claims and I am struggling to understand the London Factor funding uplift. I looked on the Devolved Adult Education Occupancy Report and there seems no information related to this. I can see that there is a column on there for the 'Area uplift' and a column for the 'Disadvantage uplift', but not for the London Factor funding uplift.
a) Area uplift = 13.5% (claimed using EAS form)
b) 'Disadvantage uplift' = 10% (claimed using EAS form)
c) London Factor uplift = 13.5%. is the London Factor uplift the same as the 'Area uplift? or is this separate? Do I also need to claim using the EAS form? if yes, please, where would find this information.
I just need to ensure that I am putting these claims through with confidence.
Thank you in advance.
Glad.
