Deleting a learner from the ILR

In a situation where we have insufficient evidence to support the funding claim for a learner, I have been asked to delete the learner from the ILR tool. Would this be the best method or would it be best to select 'do not export' and leave the learner on the tool? The learner has previously been set to withdrawn within the ILR.

Tick the do not export check box and the record will not be recorded in your ILR and you will still have the record for audit.
