Advanced Learner Loan Portal Start Dates Vs Actual Start Dates

Asking for opinions please. If there is a difference in the loan portal start date versus the ILR/registers does the 7 day rule apply?
For instance, advanced learner loan portal has a start date of 12/09/2022. Whereas the registers and ILR starts from the 13/09/2022.
Not talking huge gaps. Normally just where the course has changed the day of the week. There is continued evidence of activity, no gaps and not withdrawn. We do try to get it exact but curriculum areas can be slow letting us know about changes.
Anyone experienced any issues at audit? Assumed would be management note.
