EPA Payment for transferred apprentice

Hi There,

If a learner transfers to us from another training provider but has received all funding apart from EPA, how do we code the the apprentice so they will be able to complete EPA with us, and for us to collect EPA payment?

You mean the previous provider has received all the on programme funding but not the 20% completion payment. When the learner restarts with you to complete the apprenticeship the remaining 20% of funding will be split 80/20% between on programme and completion payments.

Yes the previous provider has received all the on programme funding but not the 20% completion payment. I'm just abit lost has how to record this information on the ILR as they wont be on programme with us for the 365 days so would this flag up erros if for instance i have start date as 21/06/2023 and end date as 21/09/2023?

You use the restart indicator (Learning Delivery FAM) use code RES1 this is used by the validation rules to identify where the programme is less than 12 months to avoid any errors.
