Hi Kelly,
That would be correct, do remember for mutli-year enrolments such as A Levels in their 2nd year their 42 days would begin as of 1st August & then an adjustment of hours is needed if they withdrew at the end of September for example.
Carrying on from what Phil said the 42 day rule is based of the length of the learning aim.
168 days or more - 42 days
14 to 167 days - 14 days
Less than 14 days (13 or below) - 1 day

For the 42 qualifying days for funding, if a learner withdrew on day 42 would that be a non-starter?
Does the learner technically have to be in attendance for 43 days to qualify for funding?
