Past planned end date report for AAF

Created

None

Hello Everyone

I had a look at previous posts regarding the subject but I'm still not clear: what should we be using to assess our performance against the AAF past planned end date indicator?

I have looked at PDSAT 23A-504; it gives me 296 apprentices, includes those on BiL, withdrawal and those who completed. etc.

However, our ESFA contract manager said we have 495, 200 more and I can't find them!

Has anybody had any clarity regarding the ESFA's methodology and managed to match their numbers? Our difference is significant and I need to explain it internally...

Thank you!

I mean, first thing to do is log on to VYED and drill down to the list of learners on the PPED tile?

Note 23A-504 counts *aims* not learners as well, whereas AAF *should* just be counting ZPROGs/Programme Aims not maths/english/components etc, so it kind of should have *more* on than the AAF?

Thank you Steveh.

23A-504 has less than what ESFA quoted and I can't see anything on VYED on  PPED. I've got one FRM report, which I am aware of but nothing else.

I am either looking in the wrong place or my access is out of date. Which section are you looking at?

See:

See section Apprentices past planned end date.

The report for this is from the AAF data (https://viewyourdata.education.gov.uk/)

Thank you Martin. I am aware of the AAF but don't have that function in VYED. I'll contact DfE to clarify.

Aha, you'll need to get your superuser to give you access to the AAF bit (which is what they'll tell you!)
