R13/14 v R01/02 Skills Bootcamps

Hey folks :)

Forgive my ignorance

I'm not sure what I should be submitting for R13 v R01 (and similarly for R14 v R02).

I have Skills Bootcamp learners that would appear in R13 and in R01 as, although they've completed milestone 1 (and for some milestone 2), we don't yet have an outcome for them and are able to claim up until the end of this calendar year. Do I submit these learners in both returns?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The 22/23 ILR to R14 contains all changes up to 31/7/2023 all carry over and new starts from 1/08/2023 are included in the 23/24 ILR, any changes to data during the R13.R14 periods will need to be replicated in both the 22/23 and 23/24 ILR.

Thanks for coming back to me Martin!

Just to be super clear, I record all changes as normal in the ILR tool and submit the same return in both R13 and R1 / R14 and R2?

If only it was that simple, you must use the 22/23 LET for your R13 and R14 returns for 22/23 and the 23/24 version for R01 and R02 returns for 23/24.

The dates for the returns are as follows:

R01 23/24 16/09/2023 from the 23/24 LET.

R13 22/23 14/09/2023 from the 22/23 LET.

R02 23/24 05/10/2023 from the 23/24 LET.

R14 22/23 18/10/2023 from the 22/23 LET.

It is important that any data changes or new starts up to and including31/07/2023 go in the 22/23 LET and any after this date go in the 23/24 LET.

To start you should down load the LET for 23/24 and import the ILR R12 for 22/23 this will populate the 23/24 LET with any continuing learners and migrate the data but you may need to check the data for learners who were previously recorded on a BIL, in the event the migration has incorrectly included a learner who has subsequently returned and is not continuing in 23/24 you can either delete the record or tick the check box to exclude them from the R01 return.

Thanks so much Martin! Can I check I've got this right?

Scenario A: Learner gets a job 20th July, we get the evidence on 1st Sept -> update 22/23 LET for R13 and remove learner from 23/24 LET

Scenario B: Learner gets a job on 10th August, we get the evidence on 31st August -> update 23/24 LET for R01, don't update 22/23 R13

Scenario C: Learner has an interview on 10th July, we get the evidence on 1st Oct -> update 22/23 LET for R14 AND update 23/23 for R02 (as they won't have completed)

That all looks correct for each scenario.
