We have FCFJ learners in London with the GLA and we apply the GLA Low Wage amount which is around £5k higher than the national guidance.
The only time we apply the national guidance is for residency purposes as the GLA funding guidance states that we must follow this, I wish it didn’t though.

FCfJ funding in devolved areas

Hi All,
For AEB funding, devolved areas can obviously set their own low wage thresholds, etc for when fully funding learning aims.
However, when it is funded via FCfJ, does the low wage threshold for the specific devolved area apply, or is it the low wage threshold set at national level that applies in terms of eligibility?
