Change of Provider and then made redundant
Edited
We have an employer who was going to change their Apprentice's training provider from another College to us. The paperwork has been started but crucially, is not yet signed by the employer.
The Apprentice says she has now been made redundant from that employer.
As far as I can tell, she is still enrolled with the original training provider and I assume they will start the ‘what to do with a redundant apprentice’ process.
However, if she is not still with the original Training Provider (as the employer has used the ‘Change Provider’ function on DAS) but we have not yet started her (her Apprenticeship Agreement does not start until 19/09/2023) do we have to do anything other than - once she has a new employer - enrol her as a new start (new cohort on DAS) and use RPL for her previous learning?
