R01 and BiL's from last academic year

For Apprenticeships the guidance on BIL is:

Migrating data for apprenticeships

For apprenticeship learners, component learning delivery records (Aim type = 3) that are part of an open programme must be migrated along with the programme aim, even if the component aims are closed.

All learner records, programme aims, and associated component aims must be migrated where the apprenticeship programme is continuing (Aim type = 1, Learning planned end date >= 1 August 2021 and Learning actual end date is null).

All learner records, programme aims, and associated component aims must be migrated where the apprenticeship programme aim is recorded as on a break (Completion status = 6) or the outcome is unknown (Outcome = 8) and Learning planned end date >= 1 August 2021.

Where a learner achieves an Adult skills funded apprenticeship programme (Funding model = 35, this includes 16-18 apprenticeships), but is continuing with level 2 functional skills having progressed from level 1 during the apprenticeship, then the closed programme aim and the continuing level 2 functional skills aim must be migrated into 2023 to 2024.

Sorry Martin - I am a bit confused on this as this is the first migration I have ever done let alone still learning everything ILR with these scenarios.

I don't quite understand what I need to do.....

The old aims, showing BiL on the 22-23 ILR stay as they are right?

I open new aims as restarts but immediately put them on BiL ?? But what start and end dates do I use as they haven't restarted ??

Sorry I really don't understand what the rules of migration are saying in practice ?

All learners still in learning and those on a BIL at 31/07/2023 should be carried over to the 23/24 ILR, what MI system are you using?
