Skills Bootcamps query

Created

Hello,

If there is a bootcamps learner who completed/achieved learning, but after 6 months, has not had an interview offer (therefore no event aim), the guidance in the Provider Support Manual states to record the ZPROG001 as completed, no achievement.

However, this leads to rule violations as there is no event aim, and also contradicts the guidance in the below which states that there must be an event aim or an achieved outcome to be able to use completions status "completed".

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/esfa-skills-bootcamps/esfa-skills-bootcamps-technical-funding-guide#completion-payment

Therefore, should the learner referred to above be coded as withdrawn at the six month point rather than completed? And would the actual end date be the same date as the component end of learning actual end date?

Thanks for any help

Hi, i am wondering if you have found the answer to your query as i posted a similar query and have had no response. I also record my WMCA under SOF 112 Devolved and so don't know if the guidance applies as it only relates to SOF 105 Non Devolved...

We are also wondering the same. We have a handful of learners who have reached the same criteria as yours, i.e. completed learning and the threshold for Milestone 1 payments, but no the outcomes for Milestone 2/3.

The Provider Support Manual for Bootcamps does seem to contradict the Technical Funding Guide... I'm leaning towards processing them as withdrawals. Did you get anywhere with this r012943?

I have raised with the helpdesk but haven't had a response yet...

Hi, please could anyone confirm how they are closing down learners in the ILR where they have completed learning but did not get an offer of an interview/ any of the completion milestones. Did you get clarity from the helpdesk?

Many thanks
