Incorrect planned end date 22-23

Hi all,

We have 2 come across 2 AEB learners in 22-23 who have now been identified as having an incorrect planned end date, should have been enrolled with a duration of 2 years and they have been enrolled with only 1 year set of dates.

Are we able to amend the planned end date in 22-23 as its before the hard close?
Looking at the ILR PSM it states that we cannot amend planned end date after hard close but doesnt mention we cant....

Correcting errors

Data entry errors found in ILR data can usually be corrected as soon as the error is found, as long as the error was made in the current teaching year.

Any changes that are made outside of the funding qualifying period must be due to administrative errors only and not due to a learner changing courses (providing the learning aim started in the current teaching year).

If it's a proper admin error, then yes, you can/must correct it. And definitely get it done before R14! Bear in mind it will affect the funding generated for the learners as well, but as long as they started in 22/23 (and they're on the correct aim, just the wrong duration), then you can just change the end date.

Brill, thanks so much Steve
