16 - 19 Programme Cost Weighting Query
Created
Good Morning,
I am new to post and am curious about the Programme Cost Weightings for 16-19 Funding.
Within Annex A of the 23/24 there is an SSA code for 14 - Preparation for life and work and a weighting of 1.26. We currently use 14.2 Preparation for Work with a weighting of 1.00:
Our course is jointly preparation for life and work, so would fit better as well as potentially attracting 26% greater funding, if correct.
My question is whether this is correct? And how to progress with it, if so. I'm doubtful as 22/23 did not have a weighting for 14, only 14.1 & 14.2, and it may be a typo when copying down from above. However, there are a few courses on LARS that are actually 14, as both SSA Tier 1 and Tier 2
Thanks for your help,
Nathan

For anyone reading this, I got a response from ESFA to say the guidance was incorrect, and is to be updating to reflect a weighting of 1.00 for SSA 14
