PLR - Exemption Evidence for Maths & English

Created

None

Hi all,  I have read the acceptable evidence section of the Apprenticeship English & maths list & I am of the understanding that we only use the PLR if there is an award date for the qualification.  Is this correct and if so is it the same rule when it comes to exemption evidence in relation to the 16-18 condition of funding for traineeships?

Thanks

Pretty much, unless (for Apps) it's pre-2008ish in which case it won't be on PLR.

16-18 data should be complete for learners who attended a state funded school in England BUT is never 100%, so if they're waving a certificate at you, that trumps what's on PLR (particularly if they've had a re-mark or other unusual circumstance).

If there is no award date can we still use it for apps & 16-18 COF?

OIC!

Is it an AO record or an ILR one? If it's an AO record and it has a grade, then yes? Would feel a bit wobblier about just using an ILR PLR record (!?!)

Take me back to the days of the acceptable evidence library on acecerts

Ooh, that's a surprisingly useful page!!!

Used to an absolute godsend when it came to submitting frameworks. Obviously it's a tad bit more wooly now with standards because who knows what a given EPAO will/won't accept.. but I generally still stick to it!

Hi,  I wouldn't accept the PLR for exemptions if there was no award date for apprenticeships, but would you use the same ruling for study programmes?
