Hi,
I would just like to double-check my interpretation of the requirement for planned/active learning every calendar month within an apprenticeship in the funding rules for 2023/24.
I wanted to confirm that the active learning does not have to be face-to-face delivery hours with the provider (even though we are ultimately responsible for the overall delivery of the agreed training plan, whether that is the provider or employer delivery hours).
This could mean that in some instances, a work-based apprentice may only record employer-led off-the-job hours within a particular calendar month (such as mentoring, shadowing etc) where this has been agreed within the signed training plan document.
