R13 Warning: achievement date after current year end date

Edited

Hi

We have a Warning appearing for a learner in the R13 submission:

  • Start date: 15th Jun 2022
  • Learning actual end date: 2nd Aug 2023
  • Achievement date: 12th Oct 2023
  • 2 Warnings appearing:

1. AchDate_02 | The Achievement date should not be after the current teaching year end date

2. LearnDelFAMDateTo_02 | 'Date applies to' may be wrong. Unless the 'learning actual end date' is later than the 'planned end date', the 'Date applies to' shouldn't be after the planned end date for the learning. Check 'learning planned end date' and 'Date applies to' are correct.

Should we not return an achievement date in the R13 for learners who achieved after 31st July 2023?

Thanks,

Correct, you should leave the learner as 1&8 in R14 and then show the completion in 23/24.

That's great - thanks for your help.

Steve Hewitt a quick clarification - as they are showing as warnings (not errors) do we 100% need to remove the achievement date?

Thanks,

Steve Hewitt

You make a fair point. From a strict data quality viewpoint, I'd say yes. From a "30 hours before R14 closes" viewpoint, I'd say you need to do what you can, we're all making compromises at this point in the cycle...

Also, I've just realised what the second warning you've mentioned is, that one *won't* go away, it is a bad and silly warning that I've been telling them to get rid of for ages!!!
