Learner transferred employer - Now privately (R14 Help)

Created

Hi All,

So we have a learner who has transferred to a new employer who is now having to privately fund the remainder of the Apprenticeship due to them being a devolved nations employer/apprentice living & working in Wales.

We have withdrawn the apprentice with a LDOL: 10/03/2023.

She then restarted the APP with the new employer: 10/05/2023. However when we submit the ILR its saying that a learner can't have privately funded aims when they have had funded aims?

Any thoughts guys?

What's the precise error please Tom? Not come across this before...

R56

An SFA or EFA funded component aim must not have a non-funded programme aim

Steve Hewitt

Ah, just to check, you haven't accidentally set the component aim on the new Prog to FM36, have you?

Steve Hewitt

(The nuclear option, if we can't get this sorted, is just to leave out the non-funded bit for R14 and then put it in R03 with the start date back in May which, whilst not ideal, wouldn't be a massive problem because it's non-funded)

Both the new Zprog and Z000 are Funded Code 99.

It was flagging as an error with the EPAO org and TNP's in also so they were removed which got rid of some errors buts its stuck on that code above. I can't work out how to get round that as it'll always have previous record aligned with a different funding code?

Steve Hewitt

Aha, yes, I see:

An open (LearningDelivery.LearnActEndDate = unknown), non-funded (LearningDelivery.FundModel = 99), programme aim (LearningDelivery.AimType = 1), must not have a funded component aim with the same combination of Programme type, Framework code, Pathway and Standard code (including traineeships)

(error where there is a matching (same combination of LearningDelivery.ProgType, LearningDelivery.FworkCode, learningDelivery.PwayCode and LearningDelivery.StdCode (where applicable)), funded component aim (LearningDelivery.AimType = 3 and LearningDelivery.FundModel <> 99))

Because there's no date values in the Rule, and, because you'll have matching Standard Codes on the funded and unfunded aims we are, to use a technical term, knackered.

Think you'll have to refer back to the nuclear option above...
