Hi Gary, I had the same query. ESFA response received below:
"As the version of the standard has now been retired - you will not be able to select HR CONSULTANT PARTNER when reserving funds for the Apprenticeship. This version of the standard does however have the same LARS code as 'PEOPLE PROFESSIONAL' (LARS Code 190). This is due to the recent changes to limiting standards for Training Providers. If you continue to add the learner on to the People Professional - as long as the ILR is recorded correctly - the correct funding band maximum and version will be recorded. As long as the start date of your learners within the ILR is prior to 27/09/2023 (latest start date for the 1.2 version of the standard); the funding band maximum will be updated to the original amount which can be checked within your Submit Learner Data Apps Indicative Earnings Reports. The incorrect standard may be named on the Apprenticeship Service - however, the correct Funding Band and standard version will be recorded in the ILR which is where the payment and certificate information is driven from."

When the name changes due to a revision (For example HR Consultant Partner to People Professional) would it make sense to assign it a new LARs Code (not 190 again)?
When assigning the Date updated make it on the 1st of the month (Not 28/09/23 as for HR L5)?
The main problem is on the Apprenticeship Service. All our September starts are HR Consultant. But show as People Professional as you only put the start month - and so it can't split them! If they had waited 3 days it would have been fine as all September would be one and all October the other?
Fingers crossed it does not all go Pete Tong when the EPAO claim the Apprenticeship Certificates at the end and the Apprenticeship Standard names don't match...
