Hi all, 

We had a few slow/later than expected approvals on the DAS that have now data locked (admin errors on 2 of the reservations).

Data lock 1: (DLOCK 9)

DAS start date = October 2023
ILR start date = September 2023
Correct start date = September 2023

We cannot change the start date in the DAS as it has now been approved, but we also have not received the funding from September up to now. What is the best way to get this back on the DAS so we can still claim the correct amount of funding? The employer is non levy, as we cannot backdate the reservation to September 2023 (November currently at the earliest). 

Data lock 2: (DLOCK 2)

The ULN on the DAS was entered incorrectly and does not match what we submitted on the ILR. The employer is non levy. Start date was September so we will not have received funding so far.

What is the best way to resolve these data locks, maintain funding and ensure no issue with the student's learning from September?

What is the best to do as the new reservation wont match the start date we have in the ILR.

There was a webinar on DLOCKs recently which I found really interesting and talked about the order of the locks occuring. One thing that was interesting was that it is the TNP start date that is matching DAS as I had thought it was the actual apprenticeship start date. 

I have a very similar situation here with the start date being 23/09/2023 and the DAS is 01/10/2023. I have just tested changing the TNP 1 value to £0 and adding a further TNP with the 01/10/2023 date to match DAS and the required training value in it. It has passed FIS validation but I am not sure if it would still DLOCK or not. 

Has anyone else used this to solve the DLOCK issue?
