Would need to know a little more to confirm but, assuming they've only got a Zimbabwean passport and aren't a family member of an EU national (NOT UK National!), it's unlikely they'd be eligible until they've been here for three years for either Apprenticeship or AEB (unless you're in London!)

Hi,
I have a potential learner who has moved across from Zimbabwe. They have been in the country for six months and have a right to work visa until April 2026. They also have a residence permit (valid until 31/12/2024).
I have never had this scenario before.
My initial thoughts are that they aren't eligible for funding, but I want to make sure.
