Using AEB to support DWP Restart customers

Hi all, hoping you can help. I am a sub-contractor with non devolved AEB funding. I have offered to use our AEB for people on the DWP restart programme and it has been suggested that this could be double funding. My understanding is that DWP and DofE / ESFA are separate bodies and do not access funding from the same pot. Anyone know the answer please?

We had a learner via one of our subcontractors that was on a restart programme and wanted to enrol on a AEB course with the subcontractor. I checked with our funding team and the conclusion was as it’s his DWP funding that it should be okay.

We haven’t had any issues with this learner
