I was hoping for some advice around a change of level to FS for apprentices part way through a programme.
I have a level 4 apprentice who was not exempt from their FS Maths and hence began studying to complete the level 2 maths qualification.
However, they struggled. We explored potential SEN and found the learner had ALN. The EPAO has agreed to accept the neurodiversity report as exemption evidence so the learner is no longer required to work towards a level 2. We have switched and now preparing the learner for a level 1 qualification.
We had claimed funding for a level 2 qualification over a period of 6 months.
During that 6 month period, we were working towards the level 2 qualification and can evidence this.
Can you advise what the funding implications are for us and provide guidance on how we record these changed on the ILR?
