Awarding body change

Edited

Hi All, I am exploring what evidence is needed if a provider changes awarding body for a learners aim. For example, at enrolment the learner sign paperwork to agree learning aim title and code (LARS) but during their program the provider changed awarding body for improvements, meaning the name of the qualification may slightly differ and LARS code is different on certificates (but the specification of both aims are the same, so no difference).

Would the auditors be expecting new paperwork signed by the learner? or will they accept an overview confirming both aims spec matched and confirmation from the learner (separate to paperwork) confirming their agreement?

I would normally expect new paperwork for any changes but seeing if there are simpler ways

Trying to built in different scenarios into processes

Many Thanks

Sarah

This is why I generally only put the course code/title on the enrolment paperwork...

...the point being, from an audit point of view, that the Course File holds the learning aim (as part of our "naturally occurring evidence"), so when changes are made there, they will be documented at that level.

I think you could do the same here? The learner is still doing the "same" thing, would only be worried if it was, eg, change from a Cert to a Dip or vice versa.
