So, this is going to massively depend on where you are in the country.
If you are in a non-devolved area, hard cheese, they've just done a tender for it that will probably last two years. Also, they want super specific things and generally quite a lot of it. There are now only 55 providers with contracts, down from nearly 200 four years ago.
If you're in a devolved area, they're much more likely to have some sort of tender a lot sooner, get in touch with them so you're on their radar.
Theoretically, sub-contracting from an existing provider (eg, your local college) may be possible but, due to a tightening up in the rules, you might not find this as easy a route as it once was (and, also, they'll be carving 20% off the top).
Sorry this is a bit bleak, it's been carnage for independent training providers delivering AEB...

Hi,
I have been asked to look into AEB and see whether this is possible to add to our current model. We are currently delivering 19+ apprenticeships but can also deliver standalone NVQ's.
I suppose in simple terms, how do we get involved? What do we need to do?
