Once again "No Public Funds" DOES NOT apply to education (it's mainly only benefits and NHS).
Two problems here:
1. Has the learner been here for three years?
2. Even if they have, para 20.4 will kick in and, as the learner's *current* visa will expire before the end of the App (because an app must be at least 12 months), they will not be eligible, assuming they've not yet applied for an extension.

Hi, can anyone help with an apprenticeship eligibility query please?
We have an applicant with a Residence Permit with 'Dependant - Leave to Enter', issued in April 2023 and valid until October 2024. It has 'No Public Funds' written on the remarks section.
The applicant's spouse is a student and finishes her studies in May 2024 at which point they aim to switch to a post-study option for 2 years.
Would he be eligible for apprenticeship funding?
