FE Workforce Data Collection – extension to submit a return
Edited
The FE Workforce Data Collection is a statutory return. This means there is a legal obligation on all in scope providers to submit the requested data by the submission deadline which was Friday 26 January. We have decided to leave the collection open a further two weeks until Friday 9 February to support those providers encountering issues. If you have not yet submitted your return you must do so as soon as possible as the collection will not be left open beyond this date.
If you are yet to submit both returns, please ensure that that all records are up to date by 18:00 on 9 February 2024 and confirm that it is complete by clicking the ‘collection complete’ link in submit learner data. Please note that any data submitted but not confirmed as complete may still be used.
If you have already completed these actions and checked all returns are complete, thank you for your efforts and cooperation.
Submit Learner Data now uses DfE Sign-in method for authenticating users. Existing IDAMs users should have been migrated to the DfE Sign-in account July 2023. If you require an account, please follow this guidance: DfE Sign-in help (education.gov.uk)
The online form is available for all providers to submit their staff, vacancy, and recruitment data. Staff Data Desktop Application is also available to help providers prepare their FE Workforce data and produce an XML file. Please make sure you're using the latest version to create your XML file.
If you require further assistance, we are running daily provider surgeries until the collection closes. For details of how to book on these please see this post on the FE community page.
