The grant from CITB is payable as follows:
£2,500 per year for attendance whilst completing the apprenticeship, up to a maximum duration defined within each apprenticeship. This grant is payable every 13 weeks.
£3,500 achievement grant on successful completion of the full apprenticeship.
As the Duration (Maximum attendance grant payable) for this standard is 24 months then the full attendance grant will have already been paid but the achievement grant will still be payable on successful completion of the EPA.
Are you using NOCN as the EPA organisation?

Hello, I have a rather strange issue, that I am unsure on how to proceed. I have three apprentices that have been in learning on an apprenticeship in stonemasonry, with route in exterior fixer. The training, which was agreed with the employer started in Jan 2022 and the PETD was Jan 2024. Although the apprentices are ready for the EPA, the fixer EPA is not ready yet. The employer is a Levy paying company and also pays the CITB Levy. In order to gain additional training grants from CITB, the apprentice employer has been advised to extend the training time on DAS.
I did not think you could do this, as this would indicate poor IAG and planning on our part. The only reason they have not gone through gateway is due to the EPA not being ready. I do not want to accept the changes the employer have made as this would (I believe) reflect poorly on us as an organisation.
Your help is appreciated.
