I would say this implies that his role has been made redundant. Normally if an individual has not been successful in applying for other roles within the business they are officially made redundant. We’ve seen this happen with some of our learners that work for facility management companies where their area looses the contract.
Will the employer not amend this?

Redundancy Evidence for Apprentice
Created
Hi, we have an apprentice who has lost his job due to a restructure of the company - in his letter it doesn't mention redundant/redundancy, it states 'due to a restructure we will be unable to support your apprenticeship'. Would this be acceptable evidence of redundancy?
Thanks
