RPL Funding Calculators - Audit Compliance

Does anyone use a tool to work out RPL (I can see that OneFile has a RPL Funding Calculator, for example)? If so, please would you share your experience - is it worth the cost, does it help when Audited etc?
Our recent ESFA Audit has focussed on the RPL we have applied to Apprentices with Level 2 Study Programme Diplomas; we need to evidence exactly how many hours the Diploma units represent, compare them to the hours assigned to the KSBs and evidence that our reduction is correct.
Is there any reliable / respected software that could help us improve our processes?
