I would say that that is compliant. You are doing everything that you can within your process to obtain the signature. As long as you can show an auditor what your processes are for ensuring you have complete progress reviews that are signed by all parties, that shouldn't be an issue.

Evidencing employer signatures for audit
Created
I have just joined a new business and have a question about what is acceptable as an employer signature on reviews for audit purposes. Due to the nature of the apprenticeships delivered, construction, completing reviews onsite is challenging. It is not a good environment for laptops and the employers are not interested in signing electronically. We use OneFile as a portfolio. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone who still uses paper reviews, which can be uploaded to OneFile as attachments on the review form, can confirm what they do about showing reviews are complete electronically for audit purposes. Do you send the 'magic link' option to a generic email address that can be accessed by the tutor and checked for completion? Would this be acceptable if you can show the paper version signed as an attachment?
