Levy transfer funded learner moving to new employer

Resolved via the agency - confirmed that the levy transfer doesn't go with the learner as expected.

Hi - did you find out if the new employer can requests a new transfer? we are just doing a similar transfer and not sure if the new employer can request a transfer due to it being mid way through programme?

Hi Carla, yes the new employer can do a levy transfer for their portion of the apprenticeship.

If a new employer secures levy transfer and you use the employer change function in the Apprenticeship Service to edit and change the employer this creates the new DAS cohort for the new employer to approve - how do they then link the levy transfer they have requested to that cohort? thanks

For this particular method I had to go the old way and have the original record stopped and then a new record created, using the levy transfer, by the new employer.

This is interesting as i called the helpline and they said a levy transfer could not be requested by the new employer. They advised that i could send an email requesting the transfer of the original levy transfer but said a definite no to a new transfer request being made mid way through the programme!!?
