Hi, we received our LAR for he skills bootcamp we are delivering however, after adding our learners we were met with the following errors: 

  • The Learning aim reference is not a valid lookup on LARS
  • The Learning aim reference is not valid in the LARS database for this Funding model and this Learning
  • The aim must have MCA_GLA Validity category in the Validity table in the LARS database.

Is this something that will remove itself? I have already contacted WMCA but wondered if it was an ESFA issue also?

Yeah, no, there must be a typo, there just isn't an aim with that code...

What is the title of the aim you're meant to be using?

Right, that one doesn't exist *yet*, suspect/hope WMCA have asked for it to be set up but it's not worked its way through the system yet? Can see some Wave 5 SMA ones but not that, although the ones there appear to have been added in March...

When does/did your delivery start?

Steve Hewitt We literally received it yesterday so im wondering if it takes a certain amount of time to become Live. 

 

I have emailed WMCA so im hoping they act on it ASAP. 

 

Our delivery has started for the DPS2 learners but unable to add the WMCA learners to the class due to this issue.

Annoyingly, LARS/FALA was updated two days ago, so you'll definitely not be able to get them through as valid in R10 as I *think* it only updates fortnightly (possibly monthly?)... Would leave them as erroring in your data though, everything else will still go through.
