I think, because they are new learners with the new provider, that all of the rules that apply to any new learner applies to these ones? Given this sounds like a relatively ordered move, it would be nice if the old provider shared what they had from the initial start, but that wouldn't mean they didn't have to do it again to work out where the learners are now...

Initial assessment new provider

Hi all, its been a while - hope you're all well.
So my question is:
We have closed as a provider back in January. Have sent all learner info to relevant parties as per agreement with DfE and kept on file what we need.
For the new providers, my understanding is that they should be carrying out their own initial assessments and not using the previous providers ones, for any learners they take on and work out any RPL etc, bearing in mind that most of these learners started back in 2021.
I am struggling to find anywhere in the rules where it states this.
thanks
Laura
