It means it's not going into the ILR because ESFA/DfE aren't using it. I think we can safely say however that other people (Ofsted, Combined Authorities etcetc) will still be very interested in you knowing where your learners have gone...
In a sense it means we're not tied down to these fairly useless categories and can collect it how we want, but stopping collecting it full stop is probably a very bad idea...

ILR 24/25 Destination & Progression Entity Removal

Hi All,
I just wanted to check if I was understanding a change in the ILR rules for 24/25. Does the removal of the destination and progression entity mean that we no longer need to collect learner destination information for all funding streams?
