Steve,
Whats would your best practice be for qualifications delivered for example in the third year of a apprenticeship. Ideally you want it on the training plan and on the system so it doesn't get missed. Would you put it in with the proposed start date in the future but register the learners now?
thanks
Wayne
Hi Wayne
Mandatory ones, definitely, get them on now. Non-mandatory I probably would anyway, just so I don't forget. Remember, *none of it really matters* in that both for funding and achievement rates, everything but the programme aim itself is completely ignored, so it's for your own benefit really.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for that, as far as data accuracy would you put the proposed start date for the competency component aim as e.g June 2026 in the future as opposed to matching the start date of the programme. I totally get the funding and achivement rates wont be effected but just was worried about data accuracy and whether it should show in the ILR for the current academic year or be put as a future date which will drop in when the aim is eventually undertaken
Appreciate the advice.
Wayne

Correcting Start Date in ILR
Edited
If an apprentice is found to have an incorrect start date (within the same month in the current academic year), can this be amended?
Current Start date - 23/10/2023
Correct Start date - 02/10/2023
