Wayne Hosking No, there's often no guidance for the weird scenarios, so we just have to make it up as best we can within the spirit of the rules. If they're already past the PED, there's no on programme payments left anyway, so it doesn't impact on funding. It could potentially impact on timliness, but we're clearly not doing it on purpose to manipulate that. Just document it all really clearly about how you came to that date.

New Planned End Date after Break in Learning and PED

Hi there,
Doesn't come up often, we have a learner who went on a break in learning after being past end date as it was clear they were going to be out for six months. They have now come back, what would you suggest for the new planned end date for the restart considering they were a PED when they went off?
Would you go with a realistic planned end date for any additional tutoring required to get them to gateway?
